The Anthropic resignation news today, I hate to say, makes The Emptying - a dystopian book by me and

#InternationalLiteracyDay feels more important than ever. As our eyes get tugged away from the written word, drawn in by short-form videos and AI slop, we're not just losing the ability to read glyphs, but also the ability to read between the lines.
