Finished "Lives like loaded guns" - after visiting Emily Dickinson's museum in Amherst felt only appropriate - what a deep running drama. Kudos to Lyndall Gordon for such a delicate detective work. I know it's speculations but I bought it.

It's the beginning of the end for Chat got: they started tweaking UI instead of doing things ("think harder"). Next comes the Gmail style spacing (classic, compact, whatever), color schemes, and a line of pre-approved icons to use for everything.

If someone is capable of understanding that they're wrong -- they're also capable of arriving at that conclusion themselves. So telling them directly would rob them of the experience they would gain in the process of the discovery.
