Little disappointed in ANN's headline here. Tsuda's point was still made, and Japan has now made it very clear that actor's voices do, in fact, belong to them.

kawaiikochan.tumblr.com/post/7073598... Hi, it's "Classic Kawaiikochans." Such a thing... to think three years have passed since "THE Rock'n'Roll! Bocchi-chan." It's enough to make these kawaiis feel like "Mahoutsukai Elf Freezing." Dakedo, "Suto2 X" is...!! Well! Tonikaku! Enjoy "Comics."

Such a short yet impactful part of the DBZ series. The History of Trunks is my favorite special. I had to redraw my previous piece to try and do this special justice. #futuretrunks #dragonballz #historyoftrunks

Been thinking about Ghost in the Shell often these days, so I finally decided to look for that one music video I saw on TV over two decades ago.

it happened, crunchyroll ate right stuf and then just let the macross licenses float away down the river
this sort of thing happens more than you might think. but man, I spent like 2 years thinking "they couldnt possibly, the production work is DONE, so why...?" aaaaand it's gone to anime ltd.

Obviously the meme is going around, but apparently it's kind of us all being Jebaited. Looks like in December Anime Limited is releasing the Blu-Rays of Macross Delta. And apparently also Macross Frontier, which is the one I'm much more interested in. So we got derailed four years but IT'S HAPPENING

The SF6 tournament at Evo Japan 2026 set a world record for largest tournament turn-out. A steep decline in Evo Vegas attendance doesn't signal anything for the popularity of fighting games. It DOES signal the US becoming a hostile travel destination, a bad economy, & Evo spreading itself too thin.

Sourced from an ancient 10 year old EventHubs article referencing Nishitani's Twitter account, here's another amusing anecdote this conversation reminded me of: the rocks in Sagat's stage move so Ryu players can't do easy fireball traps with a visual marker
