Since #blue seems to be a popular color here, I have chosen the blue insularis viper, which is venomous and found in Asia. 🐍🌊💙

Wow...That's just sad! What kind of person engraves their name into another person's MEMORIAL?!? He's basically defacing it...

Defacing buildings is rude...and crass...and inappropriate...People really should NOT alter buildings by plastering their names, pictures or terrible jokes on them! 😱🙄🤪😂

Trying to break my winter slump and be productive today. Made some bioactive soil mix for an enclosure upgrade, spent some time with Echidna (carpet python) and Typhon (boa), and set up/sealed said new enclosure for the upgrade.

Not every brown snake in the UK is a Grass Snake.

Adders have a bold zigzag and vertical slit pupils.
Slow worms aren’t snakes at all (they’re legless lizards).
Smooth snakes are rare and lack that yellow collar.

Meet the Grass Snake! The UK’s largest native snake… and completely non-venomous.

When threatened, they don’t strike. They flip onto their back, hang their tongue out, and even release a foul smell to convince predators they’re already dead!

Fact: The Malagasy leaf-nosed snake is non-venomous and found only in Madagascar. Females are tan with a leaf-shaped appendage on their nose. Males are brown-yellow with a pointed nose. The reason for this face shape is unknown.
