i'm starting a notebook of lists of ideas! going to work on building a habit of making at least one list of ideas per day, and as a bookmark i decided to make a list of the things i want to remember while i work through my struggles with creativity. thought i'd share!
a piece of lined paper that is titled "have fun before you die", the list is one: "make a lot of shit to find the diamonds", two: "dumb ideas are still ideas", three: "habits strengthen creative muscles", four: "it's punk rock to break rules", and five: "creating is never a waste"

i quickly decided to take these on four at a time, but it's currently the 4th, and i got fixated on a couple of crochet projects so..........starting off strong 😂

timelapse video in the replies!

digital art of a woman looking down at an open book and a large, floating d20, and her hands are held out on the sides of the d20, as if she's marveling the wonder of what the d20 and open book represent to her.

finally got my card fixed up for this year!

#artfight | #artfight2026 | #teammystery

artfight.net/~raptortier
art fight card for raptortier. the card is decked out in red and black, and has various areas for filling in. In the user icon space is my user pic from bluesky, a black dragon head with red lines for details. the "user" box is filled with "raptortier", and the "I attack" box is filled with "Ponies mostly! Looking to do more monster-y types this year!". Next to those boxes are three check boxes. Both "Friendly Fire" and "Revenge" are ticked with a white "X", while "Mass Attack" is left blank. In 5 the featured characters boxes are a black dragonborn, then a red dragonborn, then an anthro pony/horse girl, then a female elf, then a male elf. Underneath "featured characters" is the "Characters I have" section, which has 6 options. "Human" and "Feral" are left alone. Then, "Anthro" and "Monster" are circled in white. Then, "Worm" and "Mech" are left alone. Underneath those is a line for "other", which is filled in with "Elves" in white text.

I do not believe there is a way to be vocally anti AI and still support/play/promote this company’s titles.

been drawing quite a lot over on my tumblr for thedas weekend lately, here's some of my drawings but also all of my bellaras! i love her! i've also been playing around with limited color palettes, markers, and style stuff.

#bellaralutare | #emmrichvolkarin | #dragonagetheveilguard | #datv
traditional marker drawing of bellara lutare from dragon age the veilguard. she is drawn kinda chibi, kinda cartoon-y, and is in her outfit from the lighthouse. she is perched on nothing, floating in the void of the paper, and has a cute little smile. she is colored in a limited palette of a light green-blue, yellow, orange, red, and deep red. traditional marker drawing of bellara lutare and emmrich volkarin from dragon age the veilguard. they are drawn stylized and colored in a range of blues. they are in profile view facing each other, emmrich with his hands held together, eyes closed, and a speech bubble coming from him with an exclamation point in it. bellara is looking up at him with a smile while holding a book in her hands, and has a speech bubble coming from her with a little sun inside. traditional marker drawing of bellara lutare and emmrich volkarin from dragon age the veilguard. they are drawn very stylized and colored in a range of dark blues and blue-greens. they are facing the viewer but looking at each other with happy, open-mouth smiley expressions. traditional marker drawing of bellara lutare from dragon age the veilguard. she is facing the viewer and has an open-mouthed shocked or surprised expression. her eyes are wide and her pupils are illustrated as being heart-shaped. she is also depicted with blushes on the tips of her ears, on her cheeks, and a little on the tip of her nose. she is colored in a dark pink, dusky pink, light pink-violet, light blue-green, and a light turquoise-like color.

did it! man, i haven't rly done much traditionally in quite a long time, felt nice!

#ryoubakura | #ygo | #ygodm
drawing of ryou bakura from yu-gi-oh duel monsters from head to about mid-thigh. he is looking off to the side with a pleasant smile, and has his hands held up in a sort of triangle shape where his fingertips are together and the rest of his hands are at an angle. he is wearing an oversize sweater that allows a peek of his pants-clad legs at the bottom of the page. the colors are shades of blue, starting from an icy light blue and going up to a sort of true blue in the deepest shadows.

I'm someone who was there at the midnight releases of the Harry Potter books and movies.

Watching this show puts money in the pockets of J.K. Rowling. And if you do that, you're helping fund a deadly worldwide campaign of hate against trans people.

Consult your conscience.

decided to put together a "drawings of ryou bakura through the ages" thing bc (before i found the not-posted 2024 image in my files) i thought it criminal i hadn't done a drawing of him in 10 years. so, hopefully by sharing this i'll be more motivated to get around to doing an update drawing or smth
seven cropped images of drawings of ryou bakura from yu-gi-oh! duel monsters, stacked three on the top, four on the bottom. the first is labeled 2004/5 to imply that i'm not sure if it was 2004 or 2005, the second is 2008, third is 2013, fourth is 2014, fifth is 2015, sixth is 2016, and seventh is 2024. the top of the image has the text "ye olde ryou bakura drawings" to act as a heading.

we pay respects to L in this house on november 5th
photo of a white side table holding a plexiglass print of L from Death Note, in front of which are a large crocheted pumpkin, a small crocheted pumpkin, a framed painting, a bouquet of fake sunflowers, and a little owl holding glasses. the joke my girlfriend made is that it looks like an ofrenda to L.

Paypal is now playing harder ball on artists, going after anyone even mentioning commissions.

Artists, send invoices. That way, no one has to say what the money is for on Paypal's paper trail.

Customers, SAY NOTHING about commissions. Just say "thanks" on donos.

Everyone: INCREASE THE CALLS.

prompt was to gameswap one of my dragon age ocs, so i put anise lavellan into the role of anise aldwir!

she's torn between men, bc i think she'd still be into solas as rook but also.........emmrich...... (she would end up with emmrich)

#dragonage | #aniselavellan | #datv | #veilguard | #dai
sketch done in light blue. on the bottom 2/3 of the image is a buff woman with a wavy bob and pointed ears. her name is anise. she has on fist on her hip and the other hand cupping her cheek while she looks into the distance with a distressed expression coupled with a strong blush. above her float two heads: one is solas from dragon age inquisition and veilguard, and the other is emmrich from dragon age veilguard, and there are hearts with question marks between the two, implying anise is trying to decide between them in regards to love.

i have a lafufu from an arkansas gas station and i've been crocheting her clothes To Cope (she got to go to the mcr concert recently!)

freehanded all except the pumpkin (i misread the pattern), pattern link in thread!

also. her name is Chicken Wing. i love her.

#labubu | #lafufu | #crochet
a lafufu in a crocheted white dress. she kinda looks like a real labubu, but her face is lowered and tilted at an angle and her ears are perhaps farther apart than a labubu. a lafufu in a crocheted outfit resembling the character on the cover of my chemical romance's black parade album. she kinda looks like a real labubu, but her face is lowered and tilted at an angle and her ears are perhaps farther apart than a labubu. her feet are turned inwards in this photo. a lafufu in a crocheted outfit where the dress is a big round pumpkin shape and her orange hat has ruffles with a green stem and vine attached to the top. she kinda looks like a real labubu, but her face is lowered and tilted at an angle and her ears are perhaps farther apart than a labubu. a lafufu in a crocheted outfit where the dress is mostly pink with some brown stripes on the bottom, top, and middle. she is also wearing a brown cowboy hat with pink trim with her ears poking out of the top. she kinda looks like a real labubu, but her face is lowered and tilted at an angle and her ears are perhaps farther apart than a labubu.

i won't go into details, but it was nice to draw again with The Everything going on. as usual with these things i feel, thanks lucy

#lucyheartfilia | #fairytail | #ygogx
