Also @brosaleigh.bsky.social's If I Let It Quiet is still new to the world and you *need* to hear them sing lines like
"This thought that trips on my teeth -
Is it running through your memory?
Tongue flying, broke free straight from you and into me"

No new songs (yet!) so check out this little thread of #BandcampFriday suggestions

My early #BandcampFriday recommendation is Faint Music // Ordinary Light by The Yellow Dress. It's such a comforting and moving listen, in a way that makes me want to dance.

Is this what they mean when they say "bedroom pop"?
Side view of Zach playing electric guitar and smiling. He has dark, shaggy, curly hair and a short beard and stands in front of a microphone and a table with a drum pad and mini keyboard. A twin bed with a pink blanket and a pile of pillows is in the background.

Zach and Amanda sit on the dark green step of a dark green building with large white-framed windows and a glass door. They're both wearing jeans, blue shirts, and white shoes, and are squinting at the sun. They look happy but also, perhaps, wonder what's going on.

Tonight a very nice person compared my voice to Townes Van Zandt, and you know what? I will take that. I will absolutely take that wonderful compliment and feed my soul with it. I will nurture it like a fledgling. I will keep it in a safe little spot in my heart.

Do any mutuals (or mutuals of mutuals) make and sell royalty-free drum and percussion samples? Looking for single hits, not loops. I'd mostly (maybe only) be using them for live looping on a sampling pad.
