A huge loss to local Everton coverage as well as one of the nicest people to work alongside. In just four years he did more than most to shake the ‘Red Echo’ tag. Also wasn’t shy to ask probing questions of managers when required. Nothing but best wishes for whatever comes next

Teething problems were always expected in #LFC’s first season under Andoni Iraola but his line-up changes today, particularly dropping Alexis Mac Allister, was entirely self-inflicted. Balance of the midfield was hugely off and had repercussions for the attacking players’ impact
