How does Cargret Thatcher deal with the Cargentina invasion of the Falkland Islands?
A little known fact about the CARS universe, is that post-World War 2 many Volkswagens, BMWs and Mercedes fled to Cargentina to avoid the Nuremberg Time Trials

Fun fact, the Wasp’s landing signal officer was none other than David McCampbell. After the sinking, he was sent back to the states to form Fighting Squadron 15, who would go on to destroy the most Japanese planes of any squadron in the war producing 26 aces. Quite the boomerang

I wrote for @brightwalldarkroom.com about MIAMI VICE, "a darkly sumptuous masterpiece of eroticism and romanticism, of action and abstraction, of fragmented flows of raw and overwhelming emotional information whose meanings only gain momentum with time."

Michael Mann's Miami Vice at 20: Death of the Cool
Mann’s cinema is that of love and longing on a life-and-death scale—all that matters are the compressed moments we have in which to share it.
