There will be informational booths, kids’ arts and crafts, henna art, and food and drinks available. This event is sponsored by the Muslim American Society of North Alabama.

Join the Huntsville Visibility Brigade!

Who we are: A group of local people who believe in democracy and freedom of speech. We are a registered chapter of Visibility Brigade based in Paramus NJ (see QR code for more information). They have 350+ chapters.

What we do: Put up large messages on overpasses using poster-board sized letters as well as banners, remain peaceful and positive, hold signs, shake pompoms, wave at drivers, wear costumes, dance, and listen to all the honking!

Why: To provide “social proof” and help people realize they are not alone, bring awareness to important issues, build community, utilize your skills for something fulfilling, be part of a nationwide movement, get some exercise and fresh air, make new like-minded friends, relieve anxiety.

Protesting Tommy Tuberville’s visit to Athens, AL and giving Doug Jones a boost in visibility at the same time.

There were about 35 of us there today just taking the time to pushback on the idea of a dumb Floridian (who couldn’t even coach football well) being our next governor.
