Karen Bass’s LAPD is openly defying a judge’s order to hand over moonlighting records, and it's obvious why. They are desperately hiding a shadow workforce where cops moonlight for ICE contractors, creating blatant conflicts of interest. It's time to enforce the subpoena and demand accountability.

We've got to stop letting them get away with things the first time! Not just SCOTUS. All of them.
They lied during their Senate confirmation hearings. They should be impeached; lying constitutes perjury and/or high crimes and misdemeanors.

This is correct. We need to place responsibility where it belongs, with climate, with poverty, with everything.
Stop calling it a climate problem.

Through the end of August 2026, the House was in session for roughly 383 hours total. That’s an average of about 48 hours per month. Their average monthly floor time is well below the 80-hour monthly threshold the same Congress imposed on Medicaid recipients.

This is such a burden on families. Here in California, and some other states, breakfast and lunches are covered for everyone. Free to the kids and families; paid by taxpayers. School is mandatory so the kids should be fed. (For these prices, I'd pack a lunch.)
Last year my kids' school lunches were covered by a grant to their elementary school. This year their lunches are not covered at their middle school. Lunch is $4.50 a meal. For the two of them, that's $45 a week, or about $180 a month. That is not insignificant, even for a middle class family. Sigh.
