The orator spoke with great #eloquence, moving his listeners to tears. He spoke of love, and brotherhood, and generosity, and the importance of community. The little boy smiled at his teddy bear audience. Yes, surely that speech would convince Daddy to buy him another bear. #vss365

She carried herself with a whimsical #naivete that others mistook for weakness. While they were underestimating her guile she was plotting their downfall. It came to them as quite a surprise when the village airhead ended up with the crown on her head and their heads found rest in the grave. #vss365

They wove the tapestries without a pattern. Guided by ancestral #intuition, their hands crafted scenes of war, and death, and hard-won renewal. Their arts would be passed down the generations as a warning that their descendants would be wise to heed. #vss365

She readied her arrow. Slaying that unicorn bathing in the light of the #moonglade would curse her own soul but feed her family for a week. A twig snapped. The unicorn ran. Her soul was safe but their bodies still starved. #vss365

The king assumed the rowdy masses came to #exalt him, to sing his praise and shower his reign with more tax money rung from their grubby hands. Even as they dragged him to the gallows, he was certain they would drop to their knees to worship him. But it was not they who dropped that day. #vss365

For years they said the world didn't #revolve around her but with her rocket ship complete, she was ready. This puppy was decked out in the most advanced space tech money could buy. In T-minus 10, she'd blast off to the sun and the world would finally revolve around its rightful centerpiece. #vss365

The kids were easy to occupy. An ant colony could #fascinate them for days. But once they demanded only sugar for meals for "the glory of our six-legged Queen-Mother, Bringer of Myrmecological Conquest", the parents decided to find new activities for their curious but impressionable spawn. #vss365
