This is an outrageous attack on freedom of the press. Trump cannot ban news organizations from the White House simply because he dislikes their reporting. That is authoritarian, un-American, and an attack on the First Amendment. A free press is not optional. It is essential to our democracy.

I voted YES yet again to end Trump’s illegal and lawless war with Iran. At this point, the Iran war has cost taxpayers $38B and counting. Trump and Republicans promised to lower costs and not have endless foreign wars. They didn’t — promises made, promises broken!

What we have seen in Frederick over the past several days is deeply concerning. No family should be afraid to leave their home or feel unsafe in their own neighborhood. The safety and well-being of our residents must come first.

Pete Hegseth is unfit to lead our military. Our commanders warned that the disastrous war in Iran is weakening our national security. Instead of listening, this Administration sidelined them. Our service members deserve better.

I strongly oppose BDS movements that too often veer into naked antisemitism. I also am a strong supporter of the First Amendment. Universities should be spaces for open debate, dialogue, and protest, and it should not be Congress's priority to punish political expression.
