I note that Piddington is about 12 miles from the huge fly tip that was found recently near Kidlington in Oxfordshire.
It will be a relief to the Environment Agency to know that, should a similar tip emerge in Piddington, the village's people will pay for remediation of the site themselves.

I heard a Today programme trail of a laudatory piece about the 50th anniversary of Aardman Animation, briefly considered a contrarian post but couldn’t do it.
They haven’t contributed meaningfully to intersectional discourse about structural injustice. But their films are funny and heartwarming.

I was just in DuGard and Daughters on Putney High Street when T-Rex’s Get It On came on the radio. I felt compelled to point out we were very close to where Marc Bolan suffered the injuries that killed him on Barnes Common.
And I wonder why I lack smooth, easy social relationships.
