Recording the tunes for the Rustival trip.
I love this tape deck. The speed stability is on par with a Nakamichi Dragon, so can’t really complain with that!
This makes any tape sound good with a good bias tweak!

Terrible traffic on our way back home from a personal errand tonight but Radio Caroline on 648KHz was a pleasant listen!
Definitely got very weak by the time we did get home, though.
But nevertheless I am to see a station filling the gap Absolute used to take for me on MW! 🙂

Last night made me very proud. Driving is a massive freedom for so many of us and seeing the joy in Chloe last night was a joy for me to see
My first proper drive out in the Primera! It’s good! I correctly identified that I would prefer driving a classic auto to a manual, and experienced a huge boost in confidence and overall observation of the rest of my driving.
I’ll be out driving all my favourite slush boxes in no time!

A wild Renault Mégane Fidji 1.6 16V appears! Been in the previous owner's family from new in 2002! They moved on, and viewed us as the perfect place. Totally original and surviving well at 93k miles. Needs some stuff, but was £0 so that's easy to justify! Runs and drives with no rust! #WeirdCarBS

So apparently my colour match is not remotely close to the rest of the dash and instrument cluster (except for the heated rear window switch?) I need it to be more of a white, it seems! I will have to investigate how Nissan managed it.

We think we’ve done well with this one!

Rover 75 today. A common sight for any 75 veterans. Cleaning those plenums! I even managed to do the difficult one under the servo. I need to do the “spy hole” mod to the plastics at some point. Especially because they aren’t always forgiving in all weathers!
