A data center in New Jersey spilled 5,000 gallons of diesel fuel into a local creek, putting the area’s entire river system at risk.

Is it any wonder nearly 70 percent of Americans don’t want a data center in their community?

Very interesting, and good to know. I hope that learning about this leads to understanding, and understanding to acceptance.

A quarter century ago, 2,600 people lost their lives in Manhattan, and then several million people lost their story. They were only defeated when their resilience was stolen from them by clichés, by the invisibility of what they accomplished that extraordinary morning, and by the word "terrorism"..

There have been so many impeachable offenses, but lying about how you were a hero on a day that 2,753 people died in NYC in the 9/11 disaster—when you were on the other side of town, safely calling local media to brag about how you now had the tallest downtown building—is such a despicable one

This is one of the objections I have when people talk about how useful LLMs can be for literature searches or for any kind of search, really. Even beyond the biases that inevitably (and, in some cases, intentionally) show up, part of a good literature search is seeing information *in context.*
Part of research is wandering in the literature and making unexpected connections, finding the questions you didn’t know to ask. I don’t see a good way to do that while relying mainly on LLMs to do literature searches.

Fetterman is an Israel lackey. Why would he care about a children's hospital if he can't bomb it?
Fetterman text to aide: “Why do I have to keep having to meet with [Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia]?”

Aide: “Because they are worried about vaccines and Medicaid cuts.”

Fetterman: “Well I’m not.”
