Hey, y'all, I'm an editor with a specialty in comics and graphic novels. I spent ten years in the Bat-Cave and have done all kinds of cool things since then.

I share my birthday with some cool people, but sharing it with Joe Kubert makes me feel like my career had destiny involved with it or something. Happy 100th! The impact he had on comics was incredible, and we're all in his debt.
Today is the birthday of artist, writer, and teacher, Joe Kubert (Sept. 18, 1926-Aug. 12, 2012).

1. I ain't mad about standing up for Palestine.

2. I totally think Robert Kraft targeted Macklemore for speaking out abiut Gaza and that Kraft sucks.

3. I can in fact, still begrudge Macklemore dressing up in the worst costume imaginable and not excuse that action either.

All these can be true.

I really want people to think more like organizers.

I'm seeing endless debate, and more than a little conspiracy theorizing, about the motivations behind the big companies' warnings about the danger of AI.

And almost no discussion about how we seize this moment to demand the policies we want.
