Silly, often profane, irreverent, and unapologetic dork. Lifetime Alaskan relocated to share the dorkitude with the beautiful people of the Netherlands. Generally classy broad. 🤪
Starting to realize that I love being the boss of my company, nascent as it is, and that I am simultaneously the worst employee for the job in the history of ever. 😂

To the very nice young Dutch man who asked me last night why American men are so obsessed with guns, you were probably not expecting me to say, “there’s a lot of tiny dick energy running the country.” But you only dropped your jaw a little bit before grinning and replying, “dat klopt.” 10/10, Prima!

Have successfully made it to Christmas Day without being tortured by the worst song of the genre, Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas time. But I just got McCartney-ed. Does anyone on the face of the planet minus (perhaps) Sir Paul like this song?!?

Thanksgiving is not a holiday in my new home, so I’m importing my own personal tradition of Funksgiving, where you listen to and appreciate only the best funk tunes. Dutch friends, we just finished Dumpstafunk, we got the B.T. Express, Sly and the Family Stone and my fave P-Funk on deck, join me!

This ad I keep being served… Gotta be honest, sleep apnea is never my first read. Unless masturbation is somehow curative, in which case, I’m listening.

The Alaskan village of Kipnuk was swept away by typhoon flooding this week, in addition to several others. Thousands of Alaskans find themselves without homes as our long winter begins. Here’s a response from an EPA official briefed on the situation. I’m not sure how much more evil they can be.

Think if we’re ever gonna defeat the speakerphone-aloud-in-public people, we’re gonna need to agree collectively to just sit down next to them and blatantly join their conversation that was so very important they needed to project it to the world. Who’s with me? 🤪

Multiple times this year I’ve had coffee with fellow immigrants who grew up in corrupt third world countries and the shared sentiment has been that Americans don’t understand how bad things are going to get.
