All kinds of misunderstanding to clear up - the GOP senators were actually thinking of Will Ferrell's character on Netflix's "The Hawk," and it wasn't Jack Smith, it was Chad Smith from RHCP who somewhat looks like Ferrell. Hope that helps the investigation!

I might be in a minority, but I was glad I got to watch Westbrook with the Nuggets for a year. Pure hustle and effort. Not the most gifted shooter and prone to turnovers, but 14th all-time NBA scorer anyway & would get blocked shots and offensive boards most "short" guards wouldn't get.

I like soccer/Euro football, don't get me wrong, but I LOVE love that if there's 30 minutes left in game time it barely takes more than 30 minutes to finish in reality. I'm counting added time in this. Compare with basketball where the last 2 minutes might take 20.

If I'm Mitch Johnson, I'm telling Wemby not to shoot 3s early in the shot clock. He's a ~35% 3-point shooter (season and playoffs), and beyond the arc is not where he needs to be on the court. It's giving a stressed defense a break.

It still seems to me that Wemby is the future, but he needs a little Olajuwon or something in his offensive game. Wouldn't a baby hook be almost impossible to guard, and better than a fadeaway (of which he missed a lot of yesterday)?

I hope David Adelman notices that Spurs take Wemby out for a breather in the middle of the 1st - even in the NBA Finals. Not saying Jokic "can't" handle playing entire quarters, but maybe it's contributing to being flat at ends of games.

As glad to see OKC lose as to see Spurs win. Sets up an interesting Finals matchup. Knicks with the seasoned pros, Spurs with youth and athleticism. Knicks have been really smoking the other teams, that's not lost on me. But Brunson's going to have to work for it against an agressive Spurs defense!
