I draw monsters, fantasy stuff and cartoons compulsively and share them here fairly regularly. IDK if these are my best pieces, but they seem to be pretty popular. I also seem to be fascinated by pumpkin-headed dudes.
Large, detailed Ink and Ink Wash drawing of the work populated by 'Creeple'. It's a crazy, absurd fantasy world with weird looking characters, but is it really that different from our own? A digital drawing of a witch who looks out over a gloomy coastline of cliffs and grey waters. Her long dark hair, cloak and dress are windswept as she glowers into the distance with orange slits for eyes. The Invisible Man seems to be in a hurry as he runs against a fire-colored backdrop. He wears Victorian clothing, carries a doctor's bag and wears an iron mask to hide his lack of a face. Pen and ink drawing, colored with Procreate. Jack Pumpkinhead looks a bit mischievous. He wears tattered clothes were we can see bits of hay sticking out of the holes. He's drawn with colored pencil on black paper.

So, I just saw a list of from someone about what they want from a new Doctor Who show. I honestly couldn't tell if it was serious or not (this person listed Picard Season 3 as the best of the New Trek, which seems like a satirical take, but maybe no?). At any rate, here are my hopes...

The fact that Bezos needs to piss and also the fact that he commands an army of hundreds of thousands of workers who are prohibited from pissing really supports my hypothesis that billionaires don't really believe that other people are *real*.

Years ago I sculpted a rhino based on Duer’s 1515 engraving of an Indian rhino. Actually I built 2. The first came apart in the oven, but I saved part if it. It has been used as a test piece. Or my mad alchemy skills have allowed me to turn it in bronze 🤷‍♂️

When AI boosters raise the specter of China overtaking the US in AI development, keep in mind that they are spending literally a tiny fraction of what we are spending and getting almost as good of results.

For my money, this graf is the most revealing in offering an explanation of the real function of all this AI dooming: they've vastly overestimated the potential of current transformer architecture and need regulatory capture to save them from their more sensible Chinese competitors:
One notes, for instance, a relative paucity of such testerics in Chinese AI development. It is reported, in Concordia’s latest ‘State of AI Safety in China’ report, that there has been an official shift towards addressing the possibility of a ‘technological loss of control’, and this is sometimes misleadingly taken to refer to the idea of a malign superintelligent agency, but in fact the worry is more about loss of control over sensitive data to hostile agents, misuse (mainly by opponents of the regime), and badly designed tools (like OpenClaw) behaving badly, than AI superintelligence threatening human extinction. Correspondingly, China invests far less in AI than the US. As of 2025, according to the Stanford 2026 AI Index Report, the US invested $258bn in AI compared to just $12.4bn in China, a 23:1 ratio. Intriguingly, the same report finds a mere 2.7% gap between the performance of the top AI model in the US compared to China’s top model despite the latter being far cheaper and more energy-efficient to run: a jarring chasm between financial input and performance output.
