IF english isn't your first language, I know there are some languages where epithets read more naturally than English and where they are used in writing! But if you know a character's name they are awkward and clunky in English and it reads more easily to use a name or pronoun. >
What is it about Dietrich that has everyone writing "the blonde[sic] man" every three sentences that doesn't exist for Dimitri? Is it b/c it took 2 years for me to read FE3H fic?
Fanfic writers: please just use names and pronouns. If you're flummoxed, your sentence needs to be rewritten.

So like post-canon (FE3H) someone might think of Dimitri as "his/her king" on occasion. Hilda would think of Holst

one of the best decisions you can make as an artist is to stop talking about your artwork from a position of defending it. the artists statement should be a tool of pride, community, and conversation, not an appeal to those who had no interest in (or ability to) understand it in the first place.
