Because I'm a spreadsheet sicko, I made a little cheat sheet for the various noun/adjective forms FFXIV uses for people and places. I'm sure I've missed some, but these were the ones I was able to quickly find in the lorebooks and the wiki!

taps the sign. this includes your "out of context" jokes, you are not as subtle as you think you are
putting my hand on your shoulder. you will not immediately post patch spoilers untagged on the tl after patch drop. you will be cognizant of the fact not everyone can immediately play the patch bc of work and or school and other life obligations. you will not tell people to just avoid socmed

resharing this for anyone who hasn't seen it before, eriyu's xiv.quest site is by far the most streamlined way to reread all of MSQ and includes several trial/raid series as well. it's an incredible resource for #ffxivwrite and any other XIV lore endeavors.

i make a list during each mogtomes event for where to get the loot normally, so folks can choose for themselves whether to do a mog grind or the regular style. here's the upcoming one:
![unobtainable outside of mogtomes
uolon mount [you gotta do the minimog and ultimog too for this guy for the special tokens]
mameshiba neckerchief
guaranteed portal maps
conceivably special is lvl90 elpis [hades/hyth]
presumably special is a new one, i suspect the lvl100 doors
rare drop or difficult grind [light party or more]
toad glam pieces (archaeotania boss FATE)
conditional virtue (baldesion arsenal)
emerald barding (emerald weapon EX)
fat chocobo card (special tarasque force FATE or max-rep vath dailies)
ishgardian half barding (vedrfolnir devoteth FATE)
samsonian locks (POTD hoards)
normal drops/normal farming
ramuh crystal [e8s] (unsync it)
legendary beast orch roll (e11/fatebreaker)
domakin minion (waterside exploration xxv or quick exploration for FSH retainers)
easy to get [solo or less than a light party]
duelist/thief shirts (st mocianne's)
kamuy fife (seiryu ex, solo on tank or duo)
not recommended [make it or get it elsewhere]
housing items
ananta and kotokaze cards (just play TT with the npc; ananta in the fringes, kotokaze in kugane)
pvp and ishgard restoration items [/elucidate is wolf marks; dhalmel whistle, singlet, apron is ishgard]
as always, if you have tomes to burn, the mgp platinum and the maps are great options.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:kf3xwotm7t26v6ddpcyqghs2/bafkreibbwk7nt64euait7avf2rlmzshhusbqiwqzulbfimvyyg2y4tgkgq)
