This is interesting from USL leadership, "Our preference going forward is to have the right ownership group identified and committed as we develop a market." Dudes, it doesn't have to be a preference, make it a requirement. So many teams last 1 or 2 yrs in USL1 and disappear, punishing legacy teams.
The revenue-sharing agreement between the USL and its clubs is the latest example of the league changing how it does business.

Dudes, it doesn't have to be a preference, make it a requirement. So many teams last 1 or 2 yrs in USL1 and disappear, punishing legacy teams.

The @richmondkickers.bsky.social season was/is a complete disaster. Attendance down 7%, 41 pts out of first place, 18 pts out of the playoffs, lowest goals at 27, most goals conceded at 56. It's become laughable at this point. On the plus side, Craft Beer Night this Saturday, so free beer.
