Ex X. Now even more disillusioned by the world as Trump won. Feel homeless after Brexit. Much travelled for TV news and sport. Now mainly UK/France sometimes Australia

Ofcom rules say broadcasters cannot use politicians as newsreaders, interviewers or reporters in any news programmes.

So why is Nigel Farage allowed to host his own primetime show on GB News?

I love talking our country down

While offering no solutions

Because I’m a grifting gobshite

Who likes to incite unrest

Small boat crossings are down 44%

Deportations are the highest in 10 years

Immigration is 82% lower

But who needs facts

When you can make up lies

Voters loathed the Tory party when they booted them out in 2024.They really needed to shake off their disgrace with humility and better ideas. They haven’t. They’ve doubled down. More Brexit, more austerity, more anti-immigration ugliness, more tedious arrogance… and no good reason to vote for them.

Trump's people are using blue curtains to hide empty seats at this evening's rally in Grand Island, Nebraska. Those accurate reports of poor turnout in Ohio and Alabama *really* got under his skin.

The orange felon says he’s going to withhold federal funds from Ohio if they vote blue in November.

I’d love to see Ohio tell him to go fuck himself by overwhelmingly voting blue in the midterms.

I'm sure this'll go down great at conference. I am absolutely not sure that scrapping an organisation called Natural England will go down so well at the election.
The pitch here seems to be, ‘we’ll build the houses and infrastructure we failed to build during the 14 years we were in government, but we’ll do it in the most damaging and lowest quality way possible’.

Great photograph.
I miss them.
Their respect for the history of the WhiteHouse.
Remember?
They loved and cherished that history filled place.
Still can hardly believe he tore the EastWing down.
Just destroyed it.
Out of nowhere.
Still a bit in shock..that anyone would do that.
And🌹Jackie's...
Fvck.

So, Tories would cancel Erasmus and youth mobility, scrap the SPS deal that reduces red tape, lowers costs and eases backlogs for goods trade and renege on our new energy, defence and security arrangements…

Ridiculous threat, ridiculous party, ridiculous people…

There's an argument for scrapping the £100K salary limit for childcare but saying those on £100K salaries are uniquely hard working is bollocks.
Workers on the early bus on their way to cleaning, caring, hospitality jobs work just as hard.
Tories believe wealth is acquired by virtue. It ain't.

The wealthy want lower taxes for them. And lower welfare for you.

The low taxes results in a smaller State, picking up things like NHS, welfare, PIP, your Council, education, minimum wage

The things they can afford to pay for privately, but you can’t.

Funny how things are so much simpler in opposition. Now the Tories are claiming they can do all the things they failed to do during 14 years in office.
