I'm a Green appalled both by Israel's genocidal actions and this motion, as are many others in the party. I am reluctantly giving Polanski the benefit of the doubt that he and the leadership have a plan to defuse this ethical time bomb. I'll be at conference doing what I can and hoping for the best.

Anyone supporting this motion is, at best, an imbecile. More likely they're a straight up cunt. If Polanski backs it, it would be an outrage. But even his failure to speak out against it is pretty damning.

Lots of critical reaction to Apple's new phone on the basis that people want less phone time, not more. I got a foldable to turn my phone into a tablet. Means you can use your mobile to read magazines, newspapers, comics, books, watch films. For me, it was a game-changer.

A reminder that the original Stanford prison experiment, as well as being wildly unethical, was ridiculously bogus, guards actually being coached to be abusive to prisoners and the supposed experimenter (Zimbardo) acting as prison superintendent.
