Big news from @ij.org: A federal judge in Alabama has just ordered ICE and CBP to stop warrantless raids of construction sites, to stop detaining people without individualized suspicion, and to stop detaining people who present valid ID. More to come shortly.

Really happy to see @alreporter.com digging into this. This bottleneck is the biggest reason we brought GAC to Birmingham. So happy to have a Tuscaloosa provider now, too, to take some pressure off of Dr. Kennedy.
Patients and providers describe a bottleneck that leaves some waiting years, while advocates push for broader hormone therapy training.

Really happy to see @alreporter.com digging into this. This bottleneck is the biggest reason we brought GAC to Birmingham. So happy to have a Tuscaloosa provider now, too, to take some pressure off of Dr. Kennedy.
I wish someone had told me being a parent meant I would have to force myself through work 5 days a week in order to spend most weekend trying to catch my children up on homework.

I wish when reporters - especially from major national news orgs that are located on coasts - reported on cost of living increases, they would recognize and add in the impact of red state food sales taxes. Because when you add almost 10% to the "price you pay" for a grocery item, that's significant

I mean it's really just an evolution of the early 00's blogger days
the rise of the whole influencer thing is also a direct result of there being fewer jobs in actual media -- but more importantly, there are practically no entry-level media jobs so young scrappy upstarts are basically doing everything on their own and learning that they can actually make a living
