I realise I'm somewhat proving his point here but I cycle on the pavement when I cross the Skye Bridge. I go slow and apologise to people walking. I do it because every time I've ridden on the road DRIVERS ALMOST KILL ME.
I see a Cycling Discourse is happening again. In the old days on Twitter, I had run-ins with racists, nutty American evangelicals, homophobes and death cult dickheads. Never had anything like the level of abuse andhatred as I got when I suggested cyclists use the road,not the fucking pavement.

I think yesterday's Vuelta stage is the most entertaining stage race day that I've ever watched.
It had everything; big groups up the road, attacks from start to finish, a winner we were all rooting for, tears, intrigue until the end. Even had echelons.
Best GT of recent years, viva la vuelta.

It had everything; big groups up the road, attacks from start to finish, a winner we were all rooting for, tears, intrigue until the end. Even had echelons.

I heard it from one of the people Lynch leaned on the hardest on that film, the guy who tracked down the warehouse space in Northridge that Lynch rented as a "soundstage." (1/10)
