Did you hear about the law banning ice cream? Luckily it was found to be un-cone-stitutional!

No better way to celebrate the end of August than enjoying some sweet treats in the setting sun. I had a great time chatting with constituents alongside MPP Adil Shamji at our Ice Cream Social yesterday.

I have often said that if I could have dinner with one celebrity it would be Dolly Parton: smart, articulate, funny, modest, talented and kind.

May she sing forever.

The musician behind “I Will Always Love You,” “Jolene,” and “9 to 5” moonlit as an actor, philanthropist, and amusement park mogul.

Last year, both the rate and severity of crime declined across the country. With new measures like the Bail and Sentencing Reform Act now in force, our government will continue working to keep Canadians safe and hold offenders accountable.

Life Lesson: never pass a lemonade stand without stopping.

Today, I met four young entrepreneurs in north Leaside who serve the best lemonade in the neighborhood, provide stellar customer service, and have a very bright future. I will be going back!

Through the Groceries and Essentials Benefit, a family of four will receive up to $1,890 this year.

Our government is making sure those most affected by rising costs—including nearly 5 million residents in Ontario—can afford everyday essentials and get ahead.

When parents can access affordable, high-quality child care, they can build a better future for their families.

That’s why our government is making an additional $5.4B investment over two years to help keep child care fees stable and affordable for families.

It was a pleasure hosting members of the Don Valley West Constituency Youth Council last night. I have greatly valued hearing their perspectives on the issues that matter to all Canadians, such as Canada's place in the world, the cost of housing, and how we continue to build a better society.

In the face of Russia's aggression and targeting critical infrastructure, Ukraine is defiantly defending itself and rebuilding.

Joining the Ukraine Recovery Conference has left me inspired by Ukraine's courageousness and eager to see collective action to rebuild Ukraine.

Slava Ukraini!
