I did get one other birthday gift for Shawna. Several months before her birthday, she called out that Zelda and her Age of Calamity Master Cycle would make an incredible Akira-style poster.

I took notes and then quietly commissioned the incredible @lokyu.bsky.social to create it. It came out well!

To be super clear, this is a fully functional giant padlock you can actually pick using those lock-picks. Not pictured is the giant key that also works.

When you have to contain a cosmic horror and/or release one using really big lock-picks. Destiny 2 Red Bull can for scale.

* The lock/lock-picks were not made by me, but by an incredible coworker.
A big chest is wrapped by a giant chain and locked with a comically large lock. The lock has “ADEPT 7” engraved on it. In front of the chest are 3 correspondingly large lock-picks. On top of the chest is an empty Destiny 2 Red Bull can.

My brother came into town before Thanksgiving and we visited a very good farm.

Audio (sound effects, music, and dialogue) has a weird relationship with temp assets, mostly because of issues revolving around human psychology.

Problem #1: How do you communicate that something you're hearing is temp?
