So a very Nick thing that I just learned I've done on stream is I found the MOST OBSCURE path in Elden Ring SotE and managed to follow it all the way to the end, then saw a scary door and didn't open it in case it was a boss and I didn't have HP. I was one button press from getting "Euporia".

What you need to know is this: Somehow the king is trapped in the dungeon as an endless pile of gravel attempts to crush him. He has a steel plate to push it back, but he's only one man, you know? So your job obviously is to match sets of 3 blocks.

Went to see the new Resident Evil film and was pleasantly surprised. It's very different from what I was expecting and in generally clever ways. Not too much overt fan service and lots of fun subversion. There's still references of course, but it's kinda it's own thing.

Streamed the Hellraiser demo today. I hope I don't get taken down for all those peenz and nipps. If you know the horror series nudity is kinda central to the plot, but man they really didn't hold back in any direction. 1990s moral panic parents would have detonated on the spot to see this game.

If you've never lived as an immigrant in another country while waiting to hopefully get citizenship, it's hard to convey the constant din of worry you always feel. I almost want to apologize for just being here even though I have done everything legally.

Went to opening night of Matilda in Dublin and it was incredible. I'm not even much of a theater guy but I loved it. Incredible performances all around.

This week I learned that a foundational reason Ireland was brought into modern capitalism was because of investments from the company Fruit of the Loom. They literally bought a military base here.
