All right my Gulf Coast Native Sheep peeps, why does Baron have a nose like a Klingon forehead? He is def 100% GCN. I'm new to the breed so maybe this is normal, but his sire's nose was not like this. Forgive the bad pix, he kept photo bombing his own portrait 😆 #GulfCoastNativeSheep

My life isn't fancy. We make ends meet, not much more. We often work long days. My off farm job can be very stressful, esp. w/ current administration. But in spite of it all, I am filled with contentment and gratitude for this amazing life. Goodnight from the barn, y'all, and be good to each other.

My butchering skills are slowly improving, but I still struggle with cutting chops. On a positive note, dinner was a little bit of thin sliced loin sautéed with onions, peppers, and mushrooms, and it was superb. No pic, we ate it too fast ;)

Daughter-in-law thought this would help wear out my 6 yr old rat terrier. Tried it today. He ran after the ball twice, sniffed it with disdain (since it was clearly neither rat nor squirrel), and henceforth ignored any attempt to engage him in play. 😆 #RatTerrier #FarmDog #NiceTry #SmallFarmLife
