With the NDP win in Calgary-Shaw, expect lying Dani to follow through with the Republic-esque gerrymandering of the city districts to ensure UCP wins next election. Conservatives cheat for power and they'll get away with it. Once it goes through changing it back is gonna be near impossible. #abpoli

In a functioning and free democracy it's important to REDUCE barriers to participation.
Conservatives, however, do the opposite. Their playbook is to increase BARRIERS to democracy, and every barrier implemented is a move towards authoritarianism. This happens to ensure conservatives retain POWER.
