I’ve worked with several treasury secretaries, and I can honestly say that Scott Bessent is the worst I’ve ever witnessed.
He seems to be doing everything possible to lose credibility, which is critical to soothing markets and maintaining faith in the dollar.

As usual, it does not really matter whether or not Trump is a Russian asset. He does exactly what a Russian asset would do. Is it off his own bat? Who knows? What we know is what he does and says.
Trump: "Zelenskyy has to do one thing -- he has to stop knocking out diesel fuel in Russia. He's causing a shortage of diesel fuel. This isn't done by the Middle East, this is done by what's happening with Russia and Ukraine."
