At the risk of being a hammer to which everything is a nail, social media has destroyed the brains of millions of well meaning people, including many many people on the left. They’re just as brain poisoned as the archetypal MAGA uncle scrolling Facebook. This whole discourse is an example.
I’m feeling exasperated by the currently ongoing effort by radicals and activists - the vast majority who do not live anywhere close to here and care little about the place - to hijack our crisis and turn it into some kind of opportunity for themselves. Stop doing this.

Since ICE funding is already in place for four years, probably a good way to run that out is a bill that allows people to sue the agency for punitive damages from civil rights and constitutional violations.
We don't have the power to push a recission at the moment and this would punish the agency.

I just came back from the Democratic Party Steering Committee Meeting on "Who the party should uniformly hate without exception" so we're on the same page. The thing is I saw a bunch of Republicans on the list, I didn't see Zohran.

There is a lot of pontification on gun rights from liberals. All signs are pointing to putting that away. The right wants to kill us and we need to be able to defend ourselves. There will not be a single police officer or government agent coming to help us. Today affirms that.
