Being forced into an inactive role in a life changing situation is ‘waiting mode’ hell. I’ve been through times where I’ve felt like it’s sucked the joy out of writing and for me, or even ended me as an author—BUT, I’m now drafting more books and have been falling in love with writing again 💚
When people told me being on sub was worse than querying, I didn’t believe them, but I regret to inform y’all… 😹

Today’s meltdown brought to you by: my fiance worked from home instead of going to work and everything changed because I was going to get a takeaway alone for dinner but we had lunch together and now I’m not really hungry so don’t want a takeaway but am also a bit hungry and don’t know what to do.

Had a super productive Friday planned, but then by fiancé changed his shift to work from home so that’s the entire day written off for some reason not clear to me about how my brain works…

Just me out for a walk on my own coming across a cat laying on the path in the allotment. I ask him how his day is and if he’s enjoying the sun and he miaows at me, I get his permission to gently pet his head and we are now friends. I thank him for letting me pet him and we both go about our days.
