This is an excellent book for anyone trying to write, be a 'writer', and probably other artforms too.

I always thought you do it 9-5 like any other respectable hobby/profession, but I could never do that. I'd burn out.

Lots of people consume so much media that they think they need to have an opinion on everything. Because everything you read and see is facts/opinion on something, so you grow to think that it's 'normal' to have an opinion on everything.

You never hear "I have no opinion" or rarely "I don't know"
