I couldn't agree with this more; I understand that grabbing some Jumpstart packs might be a less overwhelming way to introduce someone to the game BUT
learning from & observing 3 other people whilst playing a format that they DO have an actual interest in will be more accessible for some people 🤷

Not to doompost, but I think this would be the death of Magic the Gathering for LOT of ppl. I'm crossing my fingers we never get Rowling's filthy evil fingers in our game.
Hasbro's multi-year licensing deal with WBwill reportedly focus on "dolls, role play, action figures & collectibles, interactive plush, board games and more" based on the Harry Potter franchise.
The Magic: The Gathering team has been pretty mum on the threat of HP in Universes Beyond, so far.
