Not only did I meet Robert Kraft, I worked for him.
His kid Jonathan asked me to “remove the black music” from my gameday playlist in ‘94 & I refused so they fired me. I was the cheerleader director at the time. 
I sued them for wrongful termination and won.

Not only did I meet Robert Kraft, I worked for him.

I cannot describe the brokenness I felt reading this from the Haaretz piece.
The hostages were betrayed by everyone; Israeli leaders, the diaspora leaders & their orgs, the entire pro-Israel industrial complex, and by far and away the millions of people who cried "hostages" to support a genocide.

the interesting thing about allowing for SOME transphobia, within reason, is that you end up bending yourself into pretzels to make statements like “sure, genital inspections for student-athletes are bad, but they’re not necessarily life-ruining so long as they’re conducted responsibly”
Obviously I'm presupposing that whoever conducts inspections doesn't abuse that power by SAing anyone. It's an unnecessary & humiliating obstacle, for sure, but in & of itself isn't driving anyone to suicide. Moreover, it's unclear it would even happen under Acton, while it likely would under Vivek.
