One of the really cool things about this case is that one of the lead plaintiffs is Lioness - a nonprofit run by women who did time in sweltering Texas prisons themselves.

Every big tech company is attempting to normalize some form of always listening, recording, and/or watching. It’s the only way to sell a product that people largely don’t want but companies are heavily invested in.
So far, Apple has been slow on pushing AI features. But that also appears poised to change under Ternus, starting with a new set of Apple Watch features that necessitate it constantly listening to you and the people around you.
