The third week of September is historically when asthma attacks, ER visits, and hospitalizations start hitting their annual peak. A perfect storm of fall allergens, respiratory viruses, changing weather, and back-to-school germ sharing can make breathing harder—especially for kids.

Respiratory illness season is back, and your hands would like a word. 🧼

Wash them often with soap and water—especially after coughing, sneezing, blowing your nose, or being out and about. Clean hands can help stop germs from hitching a ride!

August is Overdose Awareness Month.

If you suspect an overdose, call 911 and give naloxone (Narcan) if it’s available. You don’t need to be a medical professional to help.

Let’s break the stigma and share resources that help keep our communities safe. 💜

It’s feeling a little apocalyptic out there with the wildfire smoke. 🔥

Protect yourself, your family, and your pets:
• Check the Air Quality Index (AQI) before spending time outside.
• Stay indoors when air quality is poor, especially if you're at higher risk.
• Keep windows and doors closed.
