Had to look it up, but having just went over fairly pricing yourself with students…stuff like this is why it is important to teach newer artists to price themselves fairly. People really expect and will try to convince artists to make work for a dime and a handshake

Alexei is here to help her, he is absolutely in love with her. Literally no other way to put it, he just adores her and wants to be near her all the time…even if she is kinda squishing him

I truly don’t care what she is (I had zero goal of acquiring anything unique)…I only want to know in the hopes of navigating any coat/size/health-related things. Like with Seti (who wasn’t just a domestic shorthair) it helped navigate issues like pica, his very specific form of anxiety, IBD/GI stuff

This was also the fourth vet who mentioned how unusual her coat/size is? And the second who brought up the possibility of her being a discarded backyard bred pet of some variety. Both had different guesses of what kind
That all being said, fingers crossed she didn’t eat plastic or a string!

Finally back home after another set of x-rays to be sure she didn’t eat anything she shouldn’t (did some last night too, but she moved too much). She fasted for over 15 hours, hadn’t eaten even before that, and was awake all night chewing on things so now with her stomach full she has crashed

This kitten has both decided that, even on good days, I'm not allowed to sleep more than 5 hours a night /and/ to be sure to strip my savings dry the second I rebuild it. Good thing she is very sweet and very cute

Fasting my cat for over 12 hours has been an experience (needs a second x-ray because the first one didn't..see enough? I guess?)
Wasn't aware that she'd just straight up refuse to sleep. It is 3AM and I'm playing fetch with her to try to pass the hours until we can finally go back

Emotionally unprepared for the time shift. The sun starts to set around 3:30PM here and it is fully dark out at 4:30PM in the worst of the winter
