For my @pghcitypaper.com column this month, I had the pleasure of interviewing local witches about ritual, sex magick, and the divine spark in each of us.

I don’t believe in hell, and I think everyone had a right to a fair defense, but I hope that the defense attorneys for the Cornell rapists burn in hell.

Accidentally wrecked a bunny nest while gardening and now I'm writing about parenthood, failure, and the Voyager Golden Record. As one does.

It’s interesting to read about boundaries in seminary after years of trying to hold them with sex work clients. I wrote some thoughts on where these professions overlap and where things get messy.

This is a fantastic article.

My favorite dates are little adventures. It's why I love pool tables (radically social), skating (physically exciting), and especially unconventional museums (intellectually stimulating) so much.

I love clients willing to try newness and some safer uncertainty with me!
A date is how you find out who’s actually in the room with you. I asked Pittsburgh’s kinksters, sex workers, and nonconformists where they go to find out.

Those working at the intersection of intimacy & public leadership (clergy, sex workers, politicians, activists, dancers) may be interested in this 9 month cohort starting now. I did it last year and found it to be personally and professionally enriching & meaningful.

Sitting in class listening to non-sex workers talking about their concerns about having class zooms recorded and transcribed and the surveillance it implies and trying hard not to say, “Sex workers have been saying this is a problem but no one listened to us…”

Seminary starts for me today and I started my day at yoga where the first and last song that played was “God is a woman.” I take that as a sign.

Happy 10 year wedding anniversary (a day late) to the most kind human I could imagine hitching myself to.

Whew, what a 10 years it’s been, can’t imagine doing it with anyone else ♥️

I keep forgetting this app exists and when I come back and check out the timeline I realize that I have no idea what half of the posts mean. I’m either getting old, am less online than I used to be, or both.
