Let books be.
Today kicks off #BannedBooksWeek, an annual observation started more than 40 years ago in response to a sudden surge in attempts to censor or remove books in libraries, schools, and bookstores. Sound familiar?

I am obsessed. The new Spooky Month is fantastic, and a great addition to the series of specials released over the years.
But can we talk about what a bop "What Do Ya Wanna Play?" song is?

Got a larger mouse today that actually fits my hand properly (rip my old busted right-click button). Unfortunately it's completely silent and it's throwing me off way more than expected.

It's quiet now at night, and I can hear the barred owl outside again, which makes me so happy.

Here's an anecdote: On 9/10/2001, The Onion staff had a New York launch party at the Bowery Ballroom to celebrate the staff's move from Madison, Wisconsin to New York City.
They woke up hungover, took a week off, and then produced one of the greatest front pages in the history of newspapers.

Hey everybody. On the 25-year anniversary, we're reprinting the much revered 9/11 edition of The Onion and sending that free to every member this month.
It's been 25 long years. Look back in anger.

I remembered some old lore: I was once really into the Final Fantasy: Unlimited anime.
Now, I see it was quite mediocre and never became popular, but it still holds a special place in my heart.

Tim Curry and Dolly Parton have taught us not only that you should be bigger, weirder, gayer, and freakier, but also that those qualities are what people will love about you. The things that make you strange and amazing are the things that will resonate with other strange and amazing people

Accidentally pulled out one of the few women's fit t-shirts that I have in my closet and was reminded of how much I hate them.
It might be the wrong size, but generally I hate how short and tight the fit of women's shirts is. I generally just buy unisex and call it a day.
