I really tried putting this off as long as I physically could, but I simply don’t have the funds in my pocket anymore.
Everything has gotten to be a bit much financially, emotionally, physically, mentally. It’s been a disastrous year.

a friend asked me what my game was about and i unfortunately wrote a novel.
what was fun was that for the first time in 20 years of nurturing this, i didn't even mention a story, just all the mechanics.
excited to get a playable prototype done. the idea is so cool, never had such a clear vision.

started work on a proof of concept for a game idea i'd had for 20 years. really wild being able to rapidly prototype something, can't believe i put it off for so long.
i'm probably going to find reasons it's not as fun as i thought it would be, but i'm sure i can adjust.

it’s unfair to the victim that a 3rd party aired this on their own. i’ve no words for the accusations but imo this sort of “mistake” *should* follow a person around.
as for the shock, it’s no small comfort:

started following an official gamemaker tutorial and had to fix the first piece of code it gave lmao c'mon.

i think the thing that bothers me most about claude is it’s blatantly named after claude debussy and all its models are named like artistic tiers of renown.

i've never played a silent hill game before but i just found out townfall is set in scotland and that it's EERILY ACCURATE.
everything i've seen is what places around dundee and broughty ferry looked like in the 90s. it's wild.
i actually just looked it up and it's set in 1996! they nailed it.
