One, this hilariously outs who all got the talking points in advance and how blatantly they parrot those.

Two, Schmitt really thought today he'd launch himself to the VP nomination and with that a decent shot at the presidency down the line. Instead this is the only thing he'll be remembered for.
If you want to really know how the outrage machine gets fired up:

1. Schmitt plans to drop “bombshell” on Smith

2. Someone plants story that Schmitt is a Vance VP contender to run same day

3. Right-wing Twittersphere gets talking points

4. Schmitt steps in it

5. Scheduled tweets go out anyway

Facebook really doesn't want you to see the new documentary exposing Elon Musk Neither do TikTok or Google or the eX social media site.

Since they won't accept paid advertising, let's do some free advertising. Go see Musk in theaters October 9

The Major Social Media Platforms Are All Rejecting Paid Ads for Alex Gibney’s ‘Musk’ (Exclusive)
YouTube, TikTok and Meta have all turned down the trailer for the Oct. 9 doc, citing “political” content. X won't even take Bleecker Street's calls. The distributor is appealing.

They're interviewing W about his first pitch at Yankee stadium after 9/11, but somehow fail to ask him about his telling Richard Clarke he'd covered his ass after Clarke warned them about the impending attack

Hey Ms. Ruhle, in the future please try not to spoil the ending of a game some of us may be watching streaming and be a few minutes behind.

Just wanted to check the election results on @msnownews.bsky.social and return to the game. I won't make that mistake again

If you were horrified watching elected leaders run & scramble because of gun violence, just imagine how my daughter Jaime felt in school running from an active shooter before she was killed.

Now, become a part of the solution & only vote for people determined to address gun violence in America.

Hegseth: "We will keep pushing, keep advancing. No quarter, no mercy for our enemies."

No quarter is the refusal to take prisoners and instead just execute everyone. It's been considered a war crime for over a century.

The story that Elon Musk committed voter fraud has gotten next to no coverage -- one of those things you can't make come up on a Google search.

But I think it's time for Dems to go on offensive abt right wing coddling of this immigrant interfering in our elections.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

This is perfect. The DOJ's embarrassing snafu with disappearing redactions was the fault of Elon Musk. Musk cancelled government subscriptions to Adobe programs that would have made the redactions permanent. What a pack of fools.
