In 2019, we set an ambitious target to cut South Cambridgeshire District Council's greenhouse gas emissions by 45% by 2025.
Our latest emissions results show that we've done it- cutting emissions by 45.3% compared to 2018/19!

Great to see South Cambs District Council back our motion calling on the Government to crack down on polluting water companies and stop sewage being dumped into our chalk streams. Local people deserve clean rivers, healthy wildlife and water companies that are held accountable.

Yesterday, we celebrated the handover of the Unity Centre in Northstowe from South Cambs to the Town Council.

This morning, alongside local veterans and Town Council workers, Cllr Helene Leeming helped plant the new memorial garden for Cambourne.

At last night's meeting of South Cambridgeshire District Council, our leader Cllr Bridget Smith encouraged all councillors to support the campaign to protect the funding for Arthur Rank Hospice.
🧵 Yesterday, we learned that the brilliant Arthur Rank Hospice in South Cambridgeshire is facing a crisis due to a £829,000 funding cut. The reduction would close 9 of the 23 palliative care beds, representing a massive 40% decrease in capacity.
