We've already lost so many talented educators, and most of those still here are struggling to some degree.

If you value what they do, especially any smaller creators/educators, reach out to them in some way and let them know. It'll mean more to them than you might imagine.

Chrome 156 shipped CSS random(). Sure, you could make snowfall or slightly tilted buttons. Or you could do stochastic calculus. With confetti 🎉

Analysts estimate that 70%+ of Microsoft, Google and Amazon's present and future AI revenues are from Anthropic and OpenAI's compute spend and model sales. Outside of two unsustainable AI labs, demand barely exists, and they've massively overbuilt capacity.

Bordeaux, France, has now recorded more days above 40°C in 2026 alone than during the entire 105-year period from 1920 (when observations began) to 2025.

This is deeply shocking.

Another conference, From the Front, brought me to Bologna back in 2012. What a beautiful city! It's also a perfect base for day trips to Modena (balsamic vinegar), Maranello (Ferrari), Ravenna (stunning mosaics), and Florence. So if @nodejs.org, JS, and 🇮🇹🍝 sound like your kind of combo, go for it! 👇🏼
Don't forget! Tickets are on sale now for @nodeconf.eu

The conference is being held in beautiful Bologna, Italy on September 29th and 30th

We've got a fantastic agenda, wonderful sponsors, and Italian food.

The food alone is worth the trip.

Modern CSS features like View Transitions and Scroll-Driven Animations make it possible to create rich motion effects without reaching for JS.
