My “I’m not complicit” notes app post is raising lots of questions already answered by my post
Ed Sheeran has released a statement on Macklemore being removed from his tour for speaking up for Palestine:

“I am not complicit. […] Just because I choose not to speak publicly, it doesn't mean I don't have [my own opinions], and it doesn't mean I don't care.”

btw Kanye did a song Heil Hitler and no one stepped in to oppose his tour(s), which is ongoing. In fact, Kanye is scheduled to perform at one of the stadiums Macklemore has been stopped from being at.
Rapper Macklemore has been dropped from Ed Sheeran’s tour after he made a “Free Palestine” speech on stage earlier this month

"ok let's destroy it"

"oh, haha, no. no."

"let's intensively regulate your company then"

It's very easy to wear a suit and tie in any major city, even if the aesthetic has mostly disappeared from daily life, because there are people outside wearing pink tutus with Army boots. As usual, your liberation is connected to other people's liberation.

I know this is a common belief, but it’s not true. If people went anti-vaxx/MAHA because they were excluded from the medical establishment, we would see sky-high rates among poor people, minorities and the uninsured. We don’t.

It’s kinda wild how Trump managed to turn American politics into a Chinese imperial court drama in like, less than 2 years. We’ve got scheming viziers plotting to get each other arrested for trumped up crimes and everything

I think it's bad that the Democrats' House leader is having secret chummy meetings with a guy doing a domestic ethnic cleansing operation and funding a genocide abroad, then spending his entire week going on cable news to complain about a lefty Twitch streamer who nobody knows. Sorry for offending.

One of the things that we need to internalize as progressives of all stripes is that there are internal conversations to be had in private with people who are on the same page that can be productive and there are external conversations where you need to not scare the hoes

I'm sorry but "a huge number of NYC cabs now are remaindered EVs running grey market software written by some dude in a garage" is the most cyberpunk thing I've ever heard
I asked a driver how they service them since they’re no longer made. He said they have a guy they go to for all the software updates and all that. Even though, it has many missing typical car elements. (Like cruise control or power windows even I believe).

Not to be some wild-eyed innocent, but I think it should be slightly bigger news that The Lancet have crunched the numbers and found that Musk's USAID cuts will kill 14 million people. And that's just by 2030.

That's 9,600 people a day, every day, until the next world cup rolls around.
New estimate of Elon Musk’s death toll just dropped www.thelancet.com/journals/lan...
