An absolutely massive update to martypc.net

Now you can choose to emulate four different systems, from the IBM 5150 to the Tandy 1000.

On the PC you can now can choose from a number of video cards all the way up to VGA.

And oh yeah, Adlib (OPL2) syntheis.

Does it ever feel like you're in a cage being watched?

Well, you are. By Flock cameras, thanks to Mike Rogers.

IC2118, The Witches Head Nebula. About 900 light years out, glowing blue because it’s reflecting light from Rigel. This is a two-panel mosaic, ~89 hours of integration across 1,067 five-minute subs. Really happy with how this one came together. #astrophotography #space #nebula

I am once again begging, praying, weeping for lists of written instructions rather than videos. I do not want to watch your two minute video in the hope of catching the two seconds where you whizz past what goddamn menu the thing is under. Write. It. Down.

I blame @skwinnicki.bsky.social for taking notice of the local wildlife. Spotted this gal (?) in the yard and waited for a pose or two…

Oh lord, what have I done to deserve this?

Glutened twice in as many weeks - from birdseed. A post few but @skwinnicki.bsky.social is likely to appreciate the gravity of. :(

My biggest contribution to #MARCHintosh so far: color matching.

Mac 128/512/Plus is RAL 7032
Mac "Platinum" is RAL 7044

3D Filament of both is available from ColorFABB. Polar Filament has their own 7044 clone called "Retro Platinum" for much less $$.

You can get paint in RAL colors, too.

Enjoy!

For those that celebrate #MARCHintosh - here is some sealed Claris MacDraw II and HyperCard from the archives. Any suggestions on what to do with it?

I'm not going to get into an indoor vs. outdoor cat debate but I want to point out that Jan - Mar is coyote mating season in North America, which means coyotes are more agitated and territorial and therefore an increased danger to outdoor cats. Make the best decisions you can for your pets, please.
