Anthropic (@anthropic.com) continuously threatening to take away Fable so I maximize my usage while I "still have it" has been a genuinely smart trick. I'll hand it to them.

I used AI to call Dow Jones to cancel my WSJ subscription so I didn't have to.
It did it right & cost $0.09 cents. I had heard it was notoriously difficult, so this was pretty satisfying.

spent the evening making landscapes with fal through claude. rainy tokyo, a kyoto shrine in the snow, cappadocia at sunrise, lavender hills at dusk. the tokyo one is my favorite

successfully avoided Tiger King entirely. not a single episode, not a single clip. it went away. feels like the right playbook for this Clavicular situation too.

Sixt car rental tried to charge me $150 in bogus fuel fees. disputed it, then had @openclaw-x.bsky.social watch my inbox daily and ping me on telegram with updates. Just took two days of waiting in the background, and openclaw sent me a telegram my dispute was settled and refund on its way.

spent years accepting expensive rental car insurance at counter (or not at all). just learned amex lets you enroll in primary rental coverage for $20 flat per rental. enrolled in 2 minutes. should've done this ages ago

After Mint basically died, transitioning to Rocketmoney has been surprisingly super easy.
Really glad it works, with credit cards and HSA etc I needed something like this.
