Scotland have announced that Emma Wassell has been ruled out of the remaining WXV series with injury and Rachel Phillips has been ruled out of this weekend's match under concussion protocols. The latter has been replaced in the squad by Holly McIntyre

Against Canada, Evie G equalled the WXV record with 71 involvements: 19 carries, 16 tackles and 36 rucks hit. Against the Black Ferns she broke it with 75, this time 19 carries, 20 tackles and 36 rucks hit. She also has 3 tries, a try assist and at least 2 turnovers. She is ridiculous 💪💪💪

Bit of a fear about what the score might be tomorrow but if Scotland get a try, it will be their first ever v the Black Ferns so could be something to celebrate

Really don't understand why that convicted domestic abuser McLean is just casually mentioned as a former Glasgow player as part of an otherwise good round up on Scotland men's players in action in France, who gives a fuck what he is up to?

Really not looking forward to this smaller ball trial for any team and this article sets out the problems. New coaches mean we don't know what the playing style will be, but generally Scotland have kicked quite a lot and it sounds like this ball is not great for that
